Here we will attempt to list the fabulous fungi that we are finding.
Roundspored Oysterling or Variable Oysterling
The bottom photo showing about 50 fruiting bodies is almost certainly what used to be called a Brittlestem (Psathyrella) but it has been placed in a different genus now called Parasolla, so the full scientific name is Parasolla conopilus (Conical Brittlestem).
I do stand to be corrected though as there are other similar species and only a microscopic examination will be able to say for certain what species this is.

Workdays for August
Wednesday 2nd August – just be on the greenway and walk down to the end and back. Just to connect with the land and feel how we are doing. Meet at Drumond Road entrance at 9:30
Wednesday 9th August – put up the last bench. Drop off at the farmer’s field entrance 9:30
Sunday 13th August – Start at Draycote and just snip back any bramble runners shooting over the path. Walk up to Potford Dam and back. Travel light – 1:30
Wednesday 23rd August – Start at underpass and head north just snipping back runners – 9:30
Monday 28th August – Start at underpass and head south just snipping back runners – 1:30
